packed pool area limited snack menu
the pool area was indeed quite packed. finding a sunbed was like a competitive sport (honestly, it was like a scene from 'the hunger games' but with towels). the room service menu was rather limited. ordering a simple snack turned into a quest for something remotely appealing (i swear, the sandwich options read like a culinary tragedy).

comfortable beds ample space air conditioning
The side sea view room on the eighth floor offered comfortable beds and ample space. air conditioning worked well, and i appreciated uk channels on the tv. the sunset bar provided supreme sunsets and chilled sounds. The cocktails were especially well-made.

superb getaway!
central location great food preferred lounge
This hotel was wonderful! the location is good with restaurants and bars just a short walk away (about 5 minutes, if you're curious). the food and drinks were spot on every day. i upgraded to the preferred club and gained access to the lounge. The complimentary drinks and snacks in the afternoon saved money on bar tabs.
almost every sunbed was reserved all day. without access to club bali beds, i might not have been able to sit outside. I never got to use the pool.

i stayed in a preferred club double room with an ocean view. the room included a king-sized bed, a seating area with a sofa, and a balcony with views of the ocean. the bathroom had a walk-in rainfall shower.

friendly staff fresh towels beautiful pool sticky wardrobe grubby taps building work
the staff was very friendly. my room had fresh towels every day and the room was also cleansed daily. the pools and the hotel overall were beautifully presented.
my room was not particularly clean, wardrobe doors were sticky. the taps were also grubby. i appreciate the hotel having no control, but building work prevented us from having a lie in.
